Turing Robotic Industries has unveiled its new high-end Appassionato smartphone. The device is made of a metal alloy called Liquidmorphium – which is more durable than steel and has improved shock resistance – and features a scratch-resistant design thanks to its sapphire crystal display and carbon coating. The Appassionato also features an integrated AI-enhanced concierge service, which combines human and virtual assistants to provide the user with a superior concierge experience.
The phone’s built-in assistant is named “Sir Alan”. Turing’s smartphone will be available in two variants – the PX8 and GX8 – and will be available from September 2017. Both versions run Android 7.0 and boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 mobile processor.
They are priced as follows:
- Appassionato PX8 – £1,099
- Appassionato GX8 – £1,599
