AfriFoon: the Afrikaans-only Cell C provider

AfriFoon, a cellular service provider enabled by GloCell that functions on the Cell C network, will launch on 16 November at an event in Centurion. AfriFoon[1] says it will establish, build, and promote sustainable delivery of services in the technology sector in its mother tongue, Afrikaans. It will establish Afrikaans in the telecommunications space by using only Afrikaans in all of its marketing material, correspondence, contracts, sales transactions, and service channels.

AfriFoon’s offerings include Cell C device deals, data packages, and SIM-only offers which are provided through GloCell.

This includes GloCell’s cash-back offer on Cell C’s Pinnacle contracts, which may be viewed on the AfriFoon website[2], summarised in the table below.
