Ruckus launches H320 AP and Ethernet switch

Ruckus has launched the H320 wall-mounted access point[1], which supports Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity. The Ruckus H320 features 802.11ac Wave 2 Wi-Fi technology, which allows users to connect using the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Wired connectivity options consist of two Ethernet ports, and the device can handle up to 100 concurrent users.

The H320 is a small device which can be mounted on a wall, making it ideal for connectivity in a hospitality environment, said the company. Ruckus said the AP is designed for deployment in hotel rooms and will meet guest requirements. The device also supports Power over Ethernet, which allows property managers to connect wired devices such as VoIP telephones without dedicated power cables.

“The Ruckus H320 AP and switch allows hotels to meet these expectations by including an AP in every room – an unrealistic financial option until now,” said Ruckus.

The H320 will be available in August for £285.
