The new Nissan X-Trail launches in South Africa

Nissan’s new X-Trail has launched in South Africa, offering impressive off-road capabilities and comfort. The updated X-Trail boasts a new design and new features, which improve the vehicle’s versatility and driving experience. The SUV is available with either five or seven seats, and the second seat row has been improved to provide more cargo space and legroom for passengers.

The X-Trail is also available with either 17-inch or 19-inch alloy wheels, and in a choice of eight colours.

Features

Nissan has overhauled the exterior and interior of the X-Trail, with the most noticeable change the front grille and bumper redesign. The X-Trail’s new assortment of intelligent driving features also allows it to adapt to a multitude of driving situations.

Intelligent Blind Spot and Lane Intervention alerts the driver to other vehicles in the driver’s blind spot and displays a warning when the vehicle is straying from its lane. Parking and driving in traffic is easier in the X-Trail thanks to its cross-traffic alert, collision warning, and around-view monitor with object detection. The interior of the vehicle has also been upgraded, and includes a redesigned steering wheel, black leather upholstery, new gear lever, and improved centre console.

The X-Trail is available in 1.6l, 2.0l, and 2.5l models – with either five or seven seats, and 2WD or 4WD. The engine specifications for the new Nissan X-Trail models are detailed below.
