A83 closed Lochgilphead to Inveraray

A fallen tree blocking the A83 north of Lochgair has caused the closure of the trunk road in both directions although local access at both ends appears possible.

For west and south bound travellers, the diversion to use is:

  • the A819 from Inveraray to the junction with the A85, west of Dalmally;
  • then on the A85 to Oban and through the town to Argyll Square;
  • then straight out of town and on to the A916 to Lochgilphead

For east and nouth bound travellers, reverse these directions.
