Sky Broadband has been reinstated on the Isle of Wight, after disruption over two days.
Problems started yesterday (Saturday) for the Island, as well as Wokingham near Reading, and were caused by a fibre cable break, according to the communications company. It prevented customers getting online and making calls.
Early on Sunday, the issue had still not been fixed and a second break had been identified. On Sunday evening, customers were told the service had been restored.
The company apologised “for any inconvenience caused.”
