Apple now sells its own Thunderbolt 3 cables

Apple now sells its own Thunderbolt 3 USB-C cables in the Apple Store[1]. Apple did not sell its own Thunderbolt 3-to-Thunderbolt 3 cables previously, and customers were forced to rely on third-party products. Apple did sell USB-C to USB-C cables, but they only featured the USB 2.0 interface – lacking the high data transfer rates offered by Thunderbolt 3.

Apple’s Thunderbolt 3 cables are priced at £39.
