New undersea fibre system to connect US, India, and South Africa
Seaborn Networks and IOX Cable plan to provide the first “next-generation” subsea fibre optic route between the US, India, South Africa, Mauritius, and Brazil. The cable system will provide the “most secure and reliable route between these markets”, said the companies. “The Seabras-1 + SABR + IOX System route will be available exclusively through Seaborn and IOX.”
“This alliance will reshape the global communications landscape for the southern hemisphere,” said Seaborn.
