What to expect from the OnePlus 5T

This isn’t the first time OnePlus has done a ‘T’ model of a phone so we know what to expect from the 5T. It’s similar to Apple’s ‘S’ models where the device hasn’t changed dramatically but upgrades and improvements have been made. We also know what’s coming thanks to some prolific leaks so here are the highlights.

The display is the biggest change on the OnePlus 5T and we’re expecting a larger 6in size with a 16:9 aspect ratio to rival the likes of the Galaxy S8[3] and LG G6[4]. The bezel-free design means there’s no room for a fingerprint scanner at the front but unlike the iPhone X[5], it looks like it will simply be moved to the back rather than ditched entirely. Largely other specs will remain the same with a Snapdragon 835, up to 8GB RAM, up to 128GB storage and dual cameras at the back.

A larger battery is possible and although we’d like waterproofing, the price is said to stick at ?449 so that may be too much to ask.
