Airtel broadband customers can now carry forward unused data
Unused monthly data will be carried forward and added to data benefit of next billing cycle New Delhi, Nov 11:
Bharti Airtel on Tuesday introduced data rollover facility for its home broadband customers.
With this, all unused monthly data will be carried forward and added to the data benefit of the next billing cycle, further enhancing the value proposition for customers, the company said.
While existing customers can check the data rollover eligibility on MyAirtel App, new customers can log on to Airtel’s website to opt for a plan with data rollover, it said.
“Home broadband continues to drive the massive growth of in-home consumption of online content, and the combination of Airtel V-Fiber and data rollover will enable a world-class experience for today’s digital homes,” said George Mathen, Chief Executive Officer – Homes, Airtel.
With this, home broadband users no longer have to worry about their unused data, which will always be available to them, he said.
Customers can accumulate up to 1,000 GB data and easily track their usage and balance data on MyAirtel App, the company said.
The company had introduced data rollover for its postpaid mobile customers in July as part of its Project Next innovation programme. (This article was published on November 7, 2017)
