Next LG flagship smartphone will feature FullVision OLED display

The next flagship smartphone from LG will be the first device to feature a plastic OLED FullVision display[1], said the company. The device will be LG’s first OLED smartphone since the LG G Flex 2 in 2015, it added. This “marks a move by LG to extend its OLED leadership from the premium TV sector into the premium smartphone space”.

LG said the new OLED display will feature:

  • 6-inch size.
  • QHD+ resolution (1,440 x 2,880).
  • Thin bezels.
  • LG logo on back of device.
  • 148% of the sRGB colour space.
  • Support for HDR10.
  • Gorilla Glass 5.
