Mozilla launches Firefox Send

Mozilla has created a new website which allows users to send files to one another. The platform is named Send[1] and is designed for quick and private file sharing between parties. Send supports file sizes up to 1GB and encrypts them as they are uploaded – which means Mozilla does not have the ability to access your encrypted file.

After uploading a file, users are given a link they can send to a contact – who can then download the file.

The link expires after the file is downloaded, or 24 hours after the upload.
