Canadian Woman Injured in I-91 Rollover in Windsor

Windsor — Police said a 73-year-old Canadian woman was taken to Mount Ascutney Hospital on Saturday afternoon after her vehicle hydroplaned and flipped over on Interstate 89 in Windsor. Helene Ohayon, of Montreal, Quebec, was driving south on the highway around 3:40 p.m. when she attempted to apply her brakes and hydroplaned off the road, according to a Vermont State Police news release.

Troopers were dispatched to the scene and found Ohayon’s vehicle had entered the median and flipped over an embankment before coming to rest near the northbound passing lane.

She suffered minor lacerations to a leg and abrasions to her arms as a result of the accident, police said.
