Sony’s Digital Paper tablet – Price and launch date
The second generation of Sony’s Digital Paper tablet gives users a better document reading and note-taking experience, said the company. New updates include a better high-resolution display, more responsive touch panel, precise handwritten note-taking, and wireless document transfers. The latest Sony Digital Paper tablet sports a 13.3-inch (1,650 x 2,200) screen which displays full-size views of 8.5 x 11-inch documents.
The device offers 16GB of internal memory, which lets users carry up to 10,000 PDF documents. Sony claims its Digital Paper tablet is the world’s thinnest and lightest device in its class. The Digital Paper is good for three weeks of use on a single charge, and uses rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.
It is set to launch in June at a suggested retail price of £699.99.
