  • Support bandwidth up to 600MHz so you can connect to your LAN/WAN segments and networking gear at maximum speeds.
  • Transmitting data at speeds of up to 10Gbps over 100m run of cable.
  • Made of 4 shielded twisted pair (STP) of copper wires with two RJ45 connectors on each end. Compared to the Cat 6 network Ethernet cable, the additional shielding and improved quality in twisting of the wires provides better protection from crosstalk, noise, and interference that can degrade the signal quality
  • The clip protector keeps the RJ45 connector from unwanted snags while routing the cable.
  • Suitable for Gigabit-networks 10/100/1000 MBit | to connect computers, games consoles, DSL-modem, switch, router, network sockets or patch panels within a 10/100/1000 Mbit-networks

    I LOVE these cables…!, 27 Aug. 2015

I’m posting a general “Capture-All” review of these UGreen CAT7 STP cables:
    I bought 0.5m & 5m Grey Round (aka ‘Gray’), and 2m & 3m & 5m Black Round:
I LOVE these cables! No ‘memory-effect’ when uncoiling them from the packaging – the Black ones roll-out and lie totally flat within minutes!! (Grey ones seem a little stiffer and take maybe a couple of hours to fully straighten-out).
The whole ‘clip and clip-protector’ design is superb – very simple, and yet totally effective = KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid!).
Now to bandwidth / speed: These replaced some Cat6 STP (absolutely no difference), some CAT5e STP (any difference?), and one CAT5 UTP (BIG difference!).
I suspect that the limitations of our Home Network: the BT Home Hub3 Router plus a Belkin N Router configured as a WAP plus a Netgear 10/100 Switch are too great even for this cable technology to overcome – you ain’t gonna squeeze 10Gbps at 600Mhz through some of those puppies…!
But in terms of sheer build-quality, and the excellent customer service I received direct from UGreen when a 1.5 metre was substituted for the 0.5 metre cable I’d ordered (0.5 metre cables wasn’t actually manufactured or available at the time in Europe??!!), I cannot recommend these cables highly enough.
Thanks for reading and hope this helps.

These are great quality Ethernet cables. They have a good quality ‘feel’ to them if you know what I mean. I have bought Ethernet cables in the past and was disappointed to find they felt weak and flimsy when I rolled them out. These Ethernet cables feel strong and well-made and I get the impression they will give years of good service. I have used them for several different applications from connecting up a Sky box to a Devolo DLan Powerline system to connecting a PC to a TV and in every application the performance has been great.
The cables are very flexible so they flatten out quickly after you unroll them from the packaging and they can be bent and curved to fit around corners and edges etc. The plugs are well made and the connection to the cable is very strong. The plugs themselves are a great fit into standard Ethernet sockets. The shielding is great. I have never detected any interference in use.
They operate up to 600Mhz and facilitate up to 10Gps. If the transfer rate is slower than that I find it is always the router and/or LAN switches that slow things up.
These cables are great and do exactly what it says on the packaging. In my opinion they would be suitable for most general purpose uses. I paid under £10.00 for a 5M cable on Amazon and consider it a real bargain at that price. I have seen similar cables on sale in my local PC/electrical high street chain retailer at 50% more than that. I certainly recommend them.
