Penrith Canoe Polo Group Host Cumbria Friendly Tournament

Penrith Canoe Polo Group Host Cumbria Friendly TournamentTeams from Penrith, Duddon, Copeland and Lancs University came together for an evening of canoe polo matches at Penrith Leisure Centre recently.

Penrith had four teams playing over two leagues. In the Novice League, teams each played 4 matches, which saw Penrith Team 1 win three and draw one, making them league winners. In the Open League, teams played 2 matches where Lancs University won both of theirs, resulting in their league win.

Players also joined in from Lakeland Canoe Club.

Belinda Fox said: A good spirited evening of canoe polo was enjoyed by all.
