Wayne and Jacqueline bluebirdphotographyni.com Wedding …
After a month of waiting.
Sky have finally fixed my broadband!
I am up and running again after a long absence. Hasn t this summer has flown? When I was a schoolgirl, all I can remember are summers holidays that lasted an absolute age.
Now they fly by!! This summer, I have moved house, expanded in terms of my photography and taken on more work than I can chew! I never sit.
But I love it all. I know its a summer I will look back on with fondness because it marks a change in gear in terms of where I am going for the summers to come. I definitely want to pursue photography to the nth degree.
I truly enjoy it so much. I go to bed thinking of what I could do in terms of bridal poses what I could do in terms of showcasing shoes I am like a woman possessed! I just need to keep brushing up on my skills and hopefully, all will keep falling into place.
Talking of things falling into place, lets take a look at Jacqueline and Wayne.
Jacqueline and Wayne were childhood sweethearts having got engaged at 17.
However, being such a young couple, they broke up.
But things fell into place they way they were meant to.
Wayne made contact with Jackie 20 years later through Facebook. This time, they didn t break up! They got engaged in Rome in front of the Trevi fountain (men take note this is the way it should be done!) and had a lovely wedding day at the Clarion in Carrickfergus.
This wedding was only two weeks after Kelly-Ann and Chris day which I also shot at the Clarion, so I was well versed in terms of where to stand/hide and shoot for this venue.
Favourite parts of the day –
1. Jacqueline receiving a surprise bunch of flowers in the morning and welling up when she read the card from Wayne.
2. Laughing along with Wayne and his brother outside the hotel when getting their photos done!
Getting to take photos inside Carrickfergus Castle, meeting American tourists along the way and everyone politely ignoring me raving out loud about the brilliant light inside the castle with every photo I took.
4. The flowergirls jumping about and posing like superstars! Brilliant wee women!
Look out for the poem The One written by flower girl Abbie.
Very talented for so young a lady.
Hope you enjoy the showreel x
