BDUK boss named – SamKnows
Adrian Kamellard is to be the Chief Executive of Broadband Delivery UK.
Previously at Partnerships UK his history includes positions at HSBC Investment Bank and Cable and Wireless. At Partnerships UK his role was to advise UK government departments on the procurement of large-scale ICT services from the private sector. He has a degree in economics and is qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
Broadband Delivery UK is the entity created by the Digital Britain report last July and incorporated last October as the Network Design and Procurement Company Ltd.
It is responsible for defining and delivering the “2 Mbits/s” universal service commitment and administering the 50p/month telephone line levy to fund Next Generation Access.
