EE cuts broadband prices by £1.50 a month – for a limited time

EE has cut its broadband prices by £1.50 a month – but you’ll have to be quick because its Big Broadband Sale ends next Monday (21 August). For the next few days, standard 17Mbps broadband is £18.50 a month instead of the usual £21. The package is recommended for smaller households with one or two devices and you will have to pay £7 for router delivery.

EE’s basic fibre broadband package, which gives you speeds up to 38Mbps, is perfect for families who will be streaming and downloading across multiple devices. It is currently £26 a month instead of the usual £28.50, plus a £32 connection and delivery charge. Both packages include line rental and have no data caps or download limits.

Weekend calls to UK landlines are included but customers have the option of adding anytime and mobile calls for an extra £6.50 a month. There is also an option to add EE TV to you package for an extra £8 a month. There’s another benefit if you’re also on an EE pay monthly mobile plan, as broadband packages come with 5GB of mobile data, worth £10, every month.

Last month, EE extended its free Apple Music offer to all pay monthly handset and SIM-only customers. The offer gives customers six months’ free access to Apple Music and allows them to stream or download songs over the EE network without eating into their data allowance. EE’s chief executive Marc Allera said: “We’re delighted to extend our exclusive Apple Music offer to existing customers and allow them to download or stream all their favourite music on us. “As the UK’s biggest and fastest 4G network, not only are we connecting friends and family in more places across the UK, but we are also providing them with access to the content they love. “Whether it’s the soundtrack to a Sunday morning run or the daily commute to work, EE customers can now access and stream millions of songs, playlists and shows – our treat.” Why do we need your postcode?
