TalkTalk pop-up shop in London marks launch of SimplyBroadband …

To celebrate the launch of its entry-level SimplyBroadband product, TalkTalk created a pop-up shop in Camberwell Green, South London.

Consumers visiting the outlet on Wednesday September 25th were able to buy a range of goodies for just 2.50 – the price of the standalone broadband deal.

Lucky prize draw winners were able to get their hands on cut-price smartphones, tablets, hotel rooms and even flights to New York.

All proceeds from the pop-up shop – manned by celebrity shopkeeper David Dickinson – went to TalkTalk’s chosen charity Ambitious about Autism.

Alex Birtles, Head of External Comms at TalkTalk, claimed that, at just 2.50 per month, SimplyBroadband is “the best-priced totally unlimited broadband product on the market”.

She explained that it is the first TalkTalk package where customers do not need to sign up for home phone services.

“SimplyBroadband may be ‘cheap as chips’ but it’s a great value product,” Ms Birtles noted.

“There’s no download limit, so our customers will never be charged for using too much broadband like customers on some packages.”
